Dear SOF Family,
Thanks to all of you who came out to the first annual WalkAThon Saturday! God moved the rain out just in time for our event! We have lots of great pics, including Ms. Tanya Rucker rollerblading!!!! We had about 50 people come out, despite the threat of rain. Special thanks to Ms. Tanya, Ms. Tonya, and Wes Moore for all their help that morning....
As of that day, we raised over $4000 for SOF and her dance ministries!!! Thank you all for "sowing a seed" into God's work at SOF! Congratulations to Lauren Veitch for raising the most money at $618, winning her the top prize! (Elizabeth and Mallory Ellington, and Katelyn Cameron also won top prizes!)
Thanks to all our local businesses who donated prizes: Tonsmiere Studios, DanceWearHouse, DMorgans, Jittery Joes, CenterStage, Open Door, Southern Exposure Tanning, Meg Pie! Be sure to thank them next time you are at their stores!
If you still have money to turn in, it is still not too late!! I know the weather and other commitments kept many of you away, and many more wanted to participate.
Again, THANK YOU to all of you for making this first year a HUGE success! We already have a lot of plans to make next year even bigger and better!
